چکیده
The monoterpene 4-carvomenthenol (Carvo) is found in essential oils of plant. Here, we evaluate the Carvo oral pretreatment acute inflammatory experimental models and silico molecular docking. Mice pretreated with were challenged submitted to protocols: paw edema, peritonitis, scratching behavior anaphylactic shock reaction. Besides, used histamine H1 receptor, cyclooxygenases (COX-1 COX-2) phospholipase A2, as targets for docking analysis. inhibited carrageenan-induced edema decreased peritoneal influx polymorphonuclear cells on carrageenan-challenged mice without interfering mononuclear cell influx. Moreover, diminished histamine, PGE2 compound 48/80 induced edematogenic effect. also and, surprisingly, avoided animal death caused by 30 min. Through analysis, showed favorable binding energy receptor. This study demonstrates that attenuated allergic process, decreasing migration, activation mast release, probably due interaction ameliorating itching Therefore, results this indicate has anti-inflammatory properties reducing effects.
